1. Getting Started
1.1 Downloading the EVE App
- iOS Users: Download EVE from the App Store and follow the on-screen instructions to install.
- Android Users: Download EVE from the Google Play Store and follow the on-screen instructions to install.
1.2 Creating an Account
- Launch the EVE app or visit our website.
- Tap/Click on “Sign Up.”
- Provide your email address, create a secure password, and fill in any required profile details (e.g., name, date of birth).
- Verify your email to complete the registration process.
1.3 Logging In
If you’ve already created an account:
- Tap/Click on “Log In.”
- Enter your registered email and password.
- (Optional) Use Social Login if you prefer to sign in via Facebook, Google, or Apple.
2. Common Tasks & FAQs
2.1 Exploring Events
- Location Settings: Make sure you’ve enabled location services on your device so we can recommend events near you.
- Search & Filters: Use filters like date range, category, or distance to refine your search.
- Bookmarks: Tap the “Bookmark” icon on any event to save it to your personal list.
2.2 Booking Tickets & Purchasing Promotions
- Secure Payments: EVE uses a secure payment gateway for ticket purchases. Your payment information is never stored on our servers.
- E-Tickets: After completing a purchase, you’ll receive an e-ticket or confirmation code via email and in the App.
2.3 Managing Your Profile
- Updating Personal Details: Go to “Profile” > “Settings” to edit your name, email, or other account information.
- Changing Password: Under “Profile” > “Settings” > “Security,” choose “Change Password” and follow the prompts.
2.4 Event Creators & Organizers
- Create an Event Listing: If you are a business owner or event organizer, visit our [Event Organizer Portal] or tap “Create Event” in the app.
- Promoting Your Event: We offer promotional tools (featured listings, notifications, etc.) to reach targeted users based on location and interest. Contact us at info@eveinc.ca for more details.
3. Troubleshooting & Technical Support
3.1 Password Recovery
- Click “Forgot Password?” on the login screen.
- Enter your registered email.
- Follow the link sent to your email to reset your password.
3.2 App Crashes or Freezes
- Update the App: Check your device’s app store for the latest EVE update.
- Clear Cache: If you’re on Android, try clearing the app cache in your device settings.
- Reinstall: If all else fails, uninstall and reinstall the EVE app.
3.3 Issues with Tickets or Events
- Contact the Organizer: For questions regarding refunds, event changes, or venue details, reach out directly to the event organizer through the contact info provided in the event listing.
